Indigenous Women Coordinate for Justice, Power, and Self-Determination at CSW70
On March 9, FIMI — the International Indigenous Women's Forum — convenes a coordination meeting bringing together Indigenous women and regional networks ahead of CSW70. PLUME joins this strategic gathering as part of our sustained commitment to collective political action.
The meeting is designed to do what movements require: align priorities, strengthen coordinated presence, and advance the implementation of the GR39 Five-Year Action Plan. It is also a space to present FIMI's advocacy agenda for 2026 — a year of critical international opportunity.
This is not a side event. It is infrastructure.
PLUME's participation in spaces like this one reflects our conviction that Indigenous women don't just attend international forums. We shape what happens inside them. CSW70 is a site of political work, and this coordination meeting ensures we arrive with shared strategy, not just shared presence.
The gathering takes place from 3:00 to 6:00 PM (New York time) at EASE Hospitality, 605 Third Ave., New York. Interpretation is available in Spanish, French, and English. Attendance is limited to registered participants.
